Spring has sprung.......

I hope you are all well and I am so happy as we have reached the first day of Spring! It is very chilli con carne at the moment though, but I am so please to finally be in March!

I have made a card today using a Mini Magnolia image.

I have cut mini Tilda out and placed her in front of a Magnolia background scene die cut using a Nesties circle. The Magnolia flower spray I cut out from a Magnolia Kissing Gate stamp. I sprayed this and the background image with glimmer mist and the stickles that I have added are Star Dust.

The border die and swirl are Magnolia Doohickey dies.

I have coloured with distress ink pads and everything has been distressed with walnut stain.

Thank you so much for your visit and a big hug for all your lovely comments on my Grandbabies you are all so very kind thank you!

inks used
skin - antique linen, tattered rose
hair - walnut stain
dress - tattered rose
background - stormy sky, black soot, shabby shutters,

Gorgeous colours in this, and very spring-like. Great mix of 3d flowers and stamped flowers and event the background all ties in.

Beautiful and I love the colour of those pearls.

Dear Kim your card is lovely. I adore the way you used the background with the Gate and the Nestabilities. What can I say about the colouring? I believe this is true art and thank you for showing as the way. I love the pink and white composition and all the embellishments. As for the spring I heard that in Athens we're expecting some snow on Monday. So we will see what March holds for us... Have a nice day and take care!
