Sweet Farewell Tilda.....

How are you today? Hope you are well and looking forward to the weekend. We have a Bank Holiday this weekend here so an extra day which will be lovely! I have now admitted defeat on the weather front though :(. So bring on the Autumn and all it's stunning glory I now say!

Today is a very sad day for me as my gorgeous Grandson has his last day at Nursery School. He will be starting school this new term and he is growing up much too quickly for my liking. This is the card that I made for his Nursery teacher Laura. She is just the loveliest sweetest girl ever and has cared for him like he was her own. We have been so blessed with Luca going to his wonderful Nursery Peter Bunny and I will miss picking him up from such a caring, loving environment.

I have coloured my  Magnolia image with distress ink pads. The stickles are Star Dust. I have edged and distressed everything with vintage photo.

Here is a close up of the sweet Magnolia tag die. The letters are quickutz.

Well thank you so much for visiting with me and a huge thank you for all your comments you are so very kind. All the family are coming to me on Monday even my Son who still hasn't come home to his Mother after breaking my heart and leaving home grrrrrr! I tell you letting go is so hard! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Oh Kim, this brought tears to my eyes - it really is so beautiful (as your cards always are), and this image of Tilda is totally in keeping with your thoughts about family growing up and flying the nest - I know exactly how you are feeling right now.

Morning Kim, what a sad card, Tilda's in tears, you're all upset, I expect Luca is quite happy though!!
They do grow up too quick, that's for sure, before you know it they're horrible teenagers, well mine are - love 'em to bits, but teenage boys are horrible.
Beautiful card Kim - perfection and I'm sure Laura will treasure it forever.

Kim your card is absolutely stunning, I'm certain Laura will be the envy of all the staff when she receives this and will always treasure it.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family, I know what you mean about letting go it's so hard, I am the same with my boy Gareth and he left home in April, the only thing I don't miss is his mass of washing every day lol

Oh Kim this is such a sweet card!
Its scay how time flys! I'm not superised you will miss such a loving nursery that your grandson has been attending, its a daunting time i'm sure. Not looking forward to it when my time comes in 3 yrs time, They start school here when they are 6yrs old now as apposed to 7yrs of age as it was a couple of years ago. ( ok to be honest I've not started thinking about it yet since its 3 yrs down the road, but I sympathise with you :OD

Yes again, beautiful card!

Good luck!

Adorable card Kim but it makes me sad seeing Tilda cry, especially after reading your comment about your son, my lad is 14 now, he has grown up way to fast, it usets me to think that one day he will fly the nest....he's mine.....LOL.

Gorgeous card as always.x
