Unwrapping Presents......

Hope you are all well and having a wonderful weekend.

Here is a card using a Magnolia image I know shock horror!

Another shock I have coloured this little sweetie in with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with weathered wood and all edges are walnut stain. The larger flowers I received from the sweet and gorgeous Tab. The roses are prima. I have glimmer misted these with Old Lace. The leaves and swirls are Quickutz. The stickles are Star Dust on the floor and around the edge of the paper Silver Ice. I have used a sakura clear stardust pen on the letters and leaves.

Thank you so much for looking and have a wonderful weekend. I have my delicious family coming for lunch on Sunday!

Hi Kim,
Oh wow! you so inspire me to do better. When I saw this card I said to my DH "this is what a card should look like".
I totally how you have put the sparkle on the distressed edges and around the leaves. I also love how you do the sparkles at her feet. You never overdo the embellishments. your cards are always so fresh and soft. Oh to colour like you.
Hugs Marion

Hello Kim :)
I'm glad you liked it, and hope you can use it for your distress refilles :) I laminate mine, so I can rinse off with water after use - and use it over and over again..
I had to smile a bit, I will not go skiing - but to a scrapbook confention this weekend in a place in Norway called Ski! :) A bit confusing! ;)
This card is so sweet, I actually bought this gorgeous stamp this weekend -and the inspiration is just perfect! Thank you!
Hugs, Marte

Wow!!! I seriously did not like the look of distress inks on Tilda until I saw your work. Your coloring skills are spectacular! This card is simply breathtaking! From the distressing to the perfect touch of glitter, to that fabulous edging of silver ice (must look into that!) Amazing! I love it!
