Baby it's cold outside..........

Oh my goodness how cold is it. Please wrap up and keep warm. Totally marooned in my house now. Can't get off my drive please let it thaw soon!

Thank goodness the snow didn't come yesterday as Claire has been in hospital with baby Isabella and was discharged yesterday. Poor baby has been so poorly. Bronchiolitis with a dreadful ear and throat infection. Claire has been worried out of her life. Thank goodness Isabella is on the mend now so we can start to relax.

My card today is coloured with distress inks. My Magnolia images are from the MagnoliaWinter Stamp club. I masked Tilda onto the piano and added the candelabra on top. The background is distressed with weathered wood and I have edged everything with walnut stain. I have added my compulsory stickles too.

Thank you so much for looking. I hope your week is going well and if you are suffering this freeze keep warm!

Absolutely charming card. I love the colourway and that image is lovely. Wasn't too sure about Tilda in heels but she is growing on me. Keep warm

Another stunning card Kim. You are so talented. I just love to come and look at your blog there is always something beautiful to see.

You must be so relieved that Isabella is on the mend. It can be quite scary when a little one is so ill. They can go down so quickly but luckily they can also bounce back. Hope she is really well again soon.

Simply beautiful Kim, I always feel as if I'm repeating myself when I leave you a comment :-), but your beautiful cards just blow me away.
I hope your darling grand-daughter gets better soon.

Wow Kim - this is stunning, as always. Tilda looks quite grown-up, with her high heels and earrings, and I adore the soft shades and the flowers.
I do hope little Isabella gets better very quickly.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful 2010.
Love, Sylvia xxx

Super, supercute! Love the colors. And what a smart idea to have the glass like that, cause it's impossible to cut out. Awfully cold here in Norway too, I had to take my stuff into the livingroom to make some cards. Too cold in my hobbyroom. I want spring!!!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs, Yvonne :)

Poor Isabella, you all must have been so worried, poor daughter too it is so lonely when you are staying overnight in Hospital with kids, I know from when I've stayed in with Bobby with his breathing. Hope she recovers quickly, poor little love. Your cards mesmerise me they are always so stunning. Your colours are always elegant and subtle and your colouring is amazing. I love on this the masking and the way you've put your elements together.
Happy crafting

What a sweet card Bev!
I'm not crazy about tilda in heels, a bit 'Lolita' IMHO. Maybe she should be Tilda's older sister and have her own name. But you have made her look so pretty, I love that soft grey-blue colourway you've used.
